About Me
My Experience
At Catriona' s Place, I am the art director, creative director, illustrator, marketing director, communications officer, principle and project manager. My career has taken me from the fine art world as art gallery docent and fine artist, to graphic designer, print/web producer and corporate project manager. The years have taught me efficiency, perseverance and most importantly, how very much there is still to learn about "life, the universe and everything".
My GOALS
I want to create "life enhancing" images and projects and create positive change. I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on challenging projects. I am passionate about nature and environment. Most paintings and drawings on this site are inspired by photographs I've taken locally or while travelling. I love tending to my garden and visiting botanical gardens whenever possible.
My SKILLS
I enjoy painting with oil and acrylic on canvas and drawing in my sketchbook. I usually choose fairly large scale canvases for painting.

As a graphic designer, I have worked across a broad range of brands and topics, for print and web. Communication and positive user experience are my primary goals in design.
